BUCKS COUNTY HAS BEEN AWARDED THE NATIONAL “DOSE OF PREVENTION” AWARD from CADCA
CRCHY is a founding partner of Bucks Promise, and we have continually participated in, and supported the awareness campaign for over-the-counter and prescription drug misuse and abuse.
We thank all our partners, police, schools, PTO’s, parents, youth, and our local businesses who have contributed to the success of CR and Bucks County.
We could not have done this without them!!
Three CR youth will be attending this conference and will be speaking with our state representatives about youth issues in our communities. In addition, they will attend the National Youth Leadership Institute.
Sept. 12, 2012 at the Newseum in Washington, DC at the announcement of the America’s Promise 100 Best Communities for Youth.

STICKER SHOCK: Council Rock teens
warn against providing alcohol to minors
RICHBORO - To get the word out to adults about the dangers of supplying alcoholic beverages to minors, a group of teens assembled at the Richboro Beer Distributorship for a second annual campaign entitled. Sticker Shock.
“This program has been done in many states across the country,” said Barbara Gross, a youth coordinator with the Council Rock Coalition for Healthy Youth.
Teens placed stickers on cases of beer, which warn adults who purchase them that buying or serving alcohol to anyone under the age of 21 is illegal.
Gross said it was a good day for the student activity because it is prom time and the summer months are near.Read more.
